Several investors believe that the merging of art pieces into the crypto-space in the form of non-fungible tokens will increase the growth potential of art pieces (NFTs). It’s now possible to buy various digital art pieces with cryptocurrency. Art Blocks NFTs, a shared platform for creators and curators, is one such collection. Art Blocks has a vast variety of Curated projects
What is an Art Block?
Art Blocks is a first-of-its-kind marketplace for truly programmable on-demand generative material that is immutably stored on the Ethereum Blockchain.
Snowfro, an artist and technologist, founded Art Blocks in 2020 and launched it with the release of his instantly recognisable Chromie Squiggles, a maximum set of 10,000 randomly generated, variously rare—and, in some cases, near-priceless—charmingly inscrutable squiggly lines of bright saturated colours on pure white.
Curated, Playground, and Factory are the three categories of projects available on the Art Blocks platform.
What are Curated Art Blocks?
Art Blocks developed a curation board to ensure that the work included in the “official” curated collection is the finest representation of the platform’s mission.
Art Blocks Curated was created by Art Blocks Inc. It was founded in 2021 and is based in Texas, United States.
These initiatives are personally examined and contributed to something special to the larger body of curated content. Each quarter here presents a new batch of curated projects.
Art Blocks Curated is the most thoroughly curated offering in the Art Blocks product series. Individual artists or groups submit work, which is then assessed and approved by the curation board before being made public.
These incredibly imaginative publications by prominent artists reflect amazing beauty and innovation, both artistically and technically.
Art Blocks curated projects are issued on a schedule that allows collectors to build a considerable collection of generated work in a manageable amount of time.
Where can you buy these Curated Art Blocks?
Collectors can buy Most of the Curated Art Blocks on the NFT marketplace OpenSea. It also has NFTs of other projects of the ART Block.
Recently Britain’s Famous Auction House announced that it has added them in its Upcoming auction : Post-War to Present NFTs .
The current lot includes entire sets 1, 2, and 3 of Art Blocks Curated, 2020-2021—totalling 31 NFTs—from Barcella’s collection in Toronto, Canada.
The list of Art Blocks curated up on Christie’s auction is here below

31. CENTURY
CENTURY is a tribute to the paintings and drawings from the twentieth century. From the beginnings of concrete and non-objective art to color-field painting and minimalism, the references are extensive.
Ellsworth Kelly’s series of paintings from the 1950s, in which he chopped his works into pieces and reassembled them in different orders, is the most direct reference.
By just pressing the ‘1′ key on your keyboard, CENTURY creates a unique picture for each unique transaction hash, which one may “cut” and “reassemble” in various ways. To return the slices to their original order, press ‘2′. These are landscapes, and they look best when they’re big and moving.
